
Building a Regional School-led Strategy in the South-East
A one day conference for educational leaders. It will be a milestone in working together to bring greater maturity to the school-led system by helping schools, academies and other educational leaders to work collaboratively. It is endorsed by the Teaching Schools Council and the Regional Schools Commissioner and will give you an opportunity to:

Influence and contribute to a school-led improvement strategy for the South-East

Explore the distinctive roles and responsibilities we all enjoy to bring maturity, clarity and coherence to the school-led system

Understand the remit of both the Teaching School Council and the Regional Commissioner and how they are working collaboratively to help raise standards

Network, reflect and share successful and creative practice to enhance the school-led system
The conference has four key themes that underpin the school- led system which are also critical in the development of a robust regional strategy. The themes are: collaboration, coherence, challenge and creativity.
The conference will be an exciting mix of speakers, workshops and sharing exemplary practice. The keynote will be given by Robert Hill and other speakers include: Ian Bauckham, Sir Andrew Carter, Leora Cruddas, Dominic Herrington, Lucy Heller, Charlie Taylor, Mike Sheridan and Pam Warhurst.
The conference will be facilitated by Jane Creasy.
